How It Started

The Southern California Pro-Life Association (SCPLA) was formed four months after California's Proposition 1 (renamed to Measure 1 - 2022) passed. This proposition allowed up-to-birth abortions across California. We decided that it was time to stand up against abortion, as we had witnessed how California had voted for a detrimental bill. California is included in one of the top 10 states with the highest abortion rates. Liberal leadership has destroyed California with crime, homelessness, drug crisis, tyrannical mandates, and abortions. California is currently in a dark time, murdering hundreds of innocent babies daily. We must fight and be a voice for the unborn.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14)

Is the Southern California Pro-Life Association a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization?

The Southern California Pro-Life Association has currently not chosen to apply to become a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, as we want to expand our message without being associated with the federal government. When we examined the application to register as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we were devastated to see that if we applied, it would require us to refrain from being involved in legislation and politics. This was very disappointing, as we had just seen how California voted for such a horrific bill (Measure 1 - 2022). We believe that politics are essential in changing our country into the right direction. We believe in advocating and voting for candidates and legislation that defend the right to life and are in agreement with the Bible.

Is abortion acceptable in cases of rape?

Rape is horrific and is unfair to the mother. The mother deserves justice and the rapist must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Although rape is not fair to the mother, we must bring into account that the baby, which is the product of the rape, is still an innocent life. The action of rape is not reversible, and the mother deserves healing and help. We cannot disregard that a baby is still innocent, and deserves the right to life.
